Visionary Website Re-launch
We are thrilled to be able to share with you our new and improved Visionary website, which will be launching on Monday 23 October 2017.
The new website is still accessed through www.visionary.org.uk and has familiar features, such as Key News, Events, Vacancies and the Charity Locator. However, it has been revamped so that its more accessible and user-friendly, and also contains additional information that is relevant to our members.
The current website will be unavailable from Sunday evening onwards, in order for the changeover to take place, and the new website should be live from Monday morning. Please bear with us during this time. If you have any links to the current website that you still wish to use, you will need to type www.visionary.org.uk/oldsite/ and then the rest of the link, for example www.visionary.org.uk/membership becomes www.visionary.org.uk/oldsite/membership.
We know that many of you valued the Charity Locator and this will now be available on the new website.
We have updated the information for all of our members following the data cleanse that we carried out around membership renewal earlier this year. However, if you notice any incorrect or outdated information, please let us know immediately by email.
When you go onto the Charity Locator, you will need to unlock the padlock symbol to the right of the screen as you are looking at it (as Google Chrome and some other browsers default to this setting). This will then allow you to access the map and drill down into the regions.
The Members Area is currently only available to full Visionary members (local sight loss organisations), however, we will review this at membership renewal next year.
In the Members Area, you will find the recently launched Knowledge Hub, online Development & Innovation Fund Application Form, Spotlight Submission Form, and recent Visionary Briefings.
Full member contacts will receive an email early next week informing you of your log-in details. You will be prompted to change your password on first use.
As always, we are keen to hear your feedback on the new website, both in terms of what works well and what could be improved, so please feel free to send us your comments and suggestions by emailor call 020 8090 9264.
