Vision UK: BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) working group Chairperson

Vision UK are seeking someone who has a comprehensive understanding, and ideally lived experience, of BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) and eye health and sight loss issues to be Chairperson for a developing working group. The Vision UK BAME Working Group Chairperson has a strategic role to play in improving engagement of people from BAME backgrounds with regards eye health and sight loss issues and services as well as addressing representation within the eye health and sight loss sector. The role of Chair requires an estimated commitment of 4 to 8 hours a month and is a voluntary post although reasonable expenses will be covered.

We are open to this being a co-Chair role and appointing two candidates if the opportunity presents itself.
