MySight York is a talented local charity in York providing a varied range of services that help people live well with sight loss. We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Sight Support Adviser with a focus on Technology.

In this role, you will be a vital member of the team, providing a positive experience for all visitors and patients with sight loss by providing information, advice and guidance on technology solutions that enhance their independence and quality of life.

You will provide critical emotional support, information and guidance face to face within a hospital setting, in community locations and via telephone or digital platforms, referring where necessary and provide a high quality customer focussed service.

Each day you will support people affected by sight loss to identify their needs, access information and make informed choices to maintain independence.

Experience of working with people with sight loss and/or assistive technology would be an advantage but full Sight Loss Awareness Training will be provided.
