Eye Care Liaison Officer

Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 depending on qualifications and experience (pro rata).
Sutton Vision are recruiting! We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Eye Clinic Liaison Officer.
In this role you will be working directly with people with sight loss, and those diagnosed with a condition which may cause sight loss in the future, as well as their families and carers. Providing information and emotional support, you will help people to make informed choices which enable and empower them to maintain their independence.
Working across a large ophthalmology department at St. Helier Hospital and coordinating Sutton Vision’s own Community Low Vision Clinic based in central Sutton, you will work closely with clinicians and develop strong partnerships across social care, community support and other local and national organisations.
We are looking for someone with experience of delivering information and advice services and excellent communication and relationship building skills. You should also have good organisational skills and be a confident user of IT systems.
