Location: Flexible / home based within the Southwest region – requirement to attend meetings and events within the Southwest region and travel to London Office.
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

For this role we are particularly seeking someone who not only is passionate about the cause, with the ability to use their experience to be an effective voice to influence the lives of blind and partially sighted people and create an effective change within their region.

Job overview:    To deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the Southwest of England.

To engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region making sure that their voices are represented and to respond to key issues and themes as they arise.

To develop and implement engagement and awareness-raising activities, such as VI forums and sim spec walks across the region.

To lead on the engagement with other sector partners and stakeholders to ensure a robust regional network to successfully deliver all engagement project work.
