The toolkit is for newly established local sight loss organisations (local societies) who are starting to introduce services, as well as for existing local societies who aim to develop and improve the range of services that they offer to blind and partially sighted people.
This toolkit is based on feedback gained at a workshop at Visionary’s national conference in Chester in July 2009 and from feedback from Visionary regional meetings during Autumn 2009 where member societies were asked to list in order of priority the 20 marketing tools identified by participants at the national conference in 2009.
This toolkit, devised by participants at the Visionary 2010 conference workshop entitled ‚ÄòWinning Sensory Contracts in Partnership’ aims to promote confidence within Visionary members of their ability to win and deliver appropriate sensory contracts through partnership and to highlight support available.
The Eyes Right Toolkit is a simple tool designed to screen near and distant vision and can be used by anybody, but it is particularly useful in community settings. New copies of the Eyes Right Toolkit are now available.
