Before joining the amazing Visionary team, I was Operations Officer/PA to CEO at Vision UK (also known as VISION 2020 UK) for almost 5 years. Before that, I was working in the Education Department at The Royal College of Surgeons of England in various roles supporting trainee surgeons preparing for their Intercollegiate MRCS membership examination by organising and running preparation courses and events.

What do you like most about working for Visionary?

I love the way Visionary connects, supports and works closely with our wonderful members and partners which in turn supports blind and partially sighted people.

Why work in the VI sector?

It’s great to be part of the VI sector and work with amazing people who are doing a fabulous job in making a real difference to the lives of people who are blind and partially sighted people so they can live the lives they choose.

If you could be anywhere on Friday afternoon where would it be?

After attending the Friday sermon (khutbah) in the masjid, I love to sit in the park and enjoy being surrounded by nature.
