What’s your professional background?

I have worked in the charity sector for 10 years but joined Visionary having spent a year working in Communications and Business Development for an Architecture firm. Prior to this, I spent 5 years with Nordoff Robbins, a national music therapy charity where I led on governance and infrastructure as well as the development of projects across the organisation to increase access to music therapy across the UK. I am an accredited project manager and have a legal background having started my career as a legal aid lawyer.

What do you do (at Visionary)?

Anything and everything! I look after our member communications and events as well as leading on any strategic projects that Visionary or our members want support developing.

What do you like most about working for Visionary?

Getting a chance to work with so many amazing local organisations supporting people in the community. And being able to share with them ideas and best practice.

If you could be anywhere on Friday afternoon where would it be?

I would be outside in a beer garden with good friends, ideally with the sun shining, nice pint of real ale in hand and my scruffy dog Dennis by my feet harassing me finish my pint so he can go chase his ball!
