Sally Harvey: Help shape the future direction of RNIB
You might already have seen the request that went out shortly before Christmas but, new RNIB chief executive Sally Harvey, is now directly asking local sight loss charities to help shape the future priorities of RNIB by completing a short survey.
On the professional network site LinkedIn, Sally shared: “To make sustainable changes to everyday lives we believe we must change the way we work. We need to focus on what will make the biggest impact. This means our approach will need to be different from anything we’ve done before. We recognise we can’t do it all by ourselves. A wider approach is needed, which is why partnerships are so important.” As a key partner, RNIB wants you to share your views via Survey Monkey or download the Word Document survey and return to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can find out more information on this consultation, including a summary, from “The future of sight loss in the UK (Word doc, 25KB) or at www.rnib.org.uk/thefuture“. The results of this survey together with the evidence already gathered will confirm RNIB’s priorities and approach, with the aim of delivering the best outcomes for blind and partially sighted people.
