Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Visionary – Linking local sight loss charities will be held as a virtual meeting on:

Thursday 17 November 2022 at 9.15am

On behalf of the trustees, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of Visionary’s members to hear from Trustees about their management of the charity over the previous twelve months and two special resolutions.

The Annual General Meeting will be held to conduct the following business:

5. Appointment and retirement of Charity Trustees/Directors, 09:35 – 09:45

Members are asked to vote on the following trustees:

6. Special Resolution: Conversion to CIO, 09:45 – 10:00

That VISIONARY – LINKING LOCAL SIGHT LOSS CHARITIES (a charitable company limited by guarantee with company number 07185372 and charity number 1135360 SC044163) be converted to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with an association model constitution in the form attached.

Revised constitution circulated with papers.

7. Special Resolution: Adoption of new constitution, 10:00 – 10:05

That VISIONARY- LINKING LOCAL SIGHT LOSS CHARITIES adopts the constitution as circulated to members.

8. Members proposed resolutions, 10:05 – 10:10

As per resolutions and questions received in advance and on the day

9. Any other business, 10:10 – 10:20

To deal with any matters arising or questions from members posed at the meeting

I encourage you to attend and vote in the AGM, which is being held as part of the Visionary Annual Conference. Votes can either be taken at the AGM in person or made by proxy.
