New grant making Foundation supports blind and vision impaired children and young people.
The Powell Family Foundation is a new grant making foundation set up to support:
- Children and young people from birth to age 25 who are blind or vision impaired and who are permanent residents in the UK.
- UK based charitable organisations who support blind or vision impaired children and young people.
Our grants are available to improve confidence, emotional and physical well-being, increase knowledge and skills, and support independence.
We work across the UK and accept applications throughout the year.
There are separate application forms for individuals and organisations both of which are accessible and available on The Powell Family Foundation.
The Foundation is independent and well-resourced, run by Trustees and staff who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of blind and vision impaired children and young people.
We hope that by working with Visionary members we will reach more families and children in need of financial support.
