The Big Help Out

The Big Help Out on 8 May 2023 aims to be the biggest celebration and championing of volunteering in the UK. RNIB is involved in supporting this activity with 25 other charities but the opportunity to promote volunteering is open to all organisations and around 400 local and national charities have joined so far.
The Big Help Out will encourage people to try volunteering for themselves and support their local areas. The aim is to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation Weekend.
The Big Help Out will be promoting different opportunities for individuals to sign up to take a voluntary action on 8 May or to pledge/sigh up to do something over the summer. You can sign up to promote volunteering that can take place on 8 May or over the summer. You can also sign up to run an information session locally so that people can find out more about volunteering with you or even run taster sessions.

The main public launch to sign up will happen on 20 March 2023 so there is a short window to sign up.
