A report has been drafted to provide evidence and research to clinicians about the importance of eye care support from the point of diagnosis to living well with sight loss throughout Scotland.
The report (see Word version below) addresses the pain points outlined by people with eye care needs and presents the key requirements needed to empower people to actively participate along their eye care journeys. We need to transform the way in which we deliver information, advice and support across Scotland and integrate nonclinical support into existing eye care pathways.
This report is a collaborative project with the wider Scottish sight loss sector, so RNIB Scotland is requesting feedback by 8 December 2023.
