A new podcast series champions blind and partially sighted sports in the UK

British Blind Sport is delighted to announce the release of a fortnightly podcast series, Let’s Talk VI Sport – a podcast that brings listeners candid conversations with visually impaired athletes from grassroots to elite level, coaches, and industry experts ahead of this highly anticipated Paralympics in Paris later this year.

Each episode will delve into the inspiring stories, achievements and challenges giving listeners a glimpse into the athlete, coach, or expert’s journey and the importance of sport and physical activity in their lives. The podcast launched with its first episode on Wednesday 5 June – exactly 12 weeks out from the beginning of the Paralympics. Guests for the first series include CEO of Paralympics GB and Paralympian David Clarke OBE, para-cyclist Lizzi Jordan, para-rower Ellen Buttrick and more.

“We’re delighted to release our first series of Let’s Talk VI Sport ahead of the Paralympics in August. In the lead up to its release, we’ve had some really insightful conversations with athletes and experts alike who are championing blind and partially sighted sports in the UK.”

Alaina MacGregor, CEO of British Blind Sport
