Peer support and mentoring – the RNIB provide a list of peer support and mentoring opportunities for those looking for employment or hoping to retain their job.

Putting People First: Planning together – peer support and self-directed support – a report by Think Local Act Personal encouraging councils, user led organisations and groups to work together to build a broader range of support for people to direct their own care arrangements; the report shows how it is possible to build disabled people and carers’ own support planning skills.
