Postponed – Out of Sight – Invitation to find out more!
Tuesday 6 May 2025
11:00 am to 11:45am
Zoom
Note: This event has been postponed due to the RNIB campaign launch being postponed. The new date is to be confirmed.
Join Hannah Donnelly, from RNIB at 11am to 11.45am on Tuesday 6 May to find out more about the most recent Freedom of Information data gathered by RNIB and how that is influencing their Out of Sight campaign.
In May, RNIB will continue the campaign, calling on the UK Government and local authorities to ensure all blind and partially sighted people in England can access the support they need to live independently, through improved vision rehabilitation services.
The 2025 campaign report is titled “No End In Sight: delays to support are leaving blind and partially sighted people at risk”.
The report is based on FOI data requests to each local authority in England, to understand the provision of vision rehabilitation services currently provided. Prior to the launch of this report and campaigning activity, RNIB are hosting this session to share the findings of the second round of research with Visionary members.
RNIB are once again very grateful to Visionary members for their support in obtaining this research and will be happy to answer any questions within the meeting.
