Join our surgery-style meetings with RNIB to help us shape the future of eye health and eye care together
We are excited to invite you to the second of our new bi-monthly surgery-style meetings with RNIB. Designed to encourage communication and foster engagement between RNIB and Visionary members, these meetings will be a forum for meaningful discussions, updates and collaborations on eye health and eye care.
We know entry and progression through the current routes of eye care support can be messy and traumatic, resulting in inconsistent and inadequate support; some people even lose their sight unnecessarily. We want to work together with the right people and organisations to fix this.
Regular, informal meetings
Every other month, starting in July, these surgery meetings will provide a regular, informal setting for sharing updates and insights between Visionary members and RNIB to give everyone a chance to collaborate and discuss important issues.
RNIB hope to get feedback on their work including the Eye Care Support Pathway, which launched last year, and other innovative ideas so as many Visionary members as possible can help shape future initiatives and strategies.
In the months when the surgery meetings do not take place, RNIB will keep Visionary members updated with important news, updates and points for consideration via the Visionary newsletter. Visionary and RNIB want to ensure continuous communication and keep everyone informed about what’s going on and what’s coming up.

Our second meeting is on 5 September 2024 from 2.30 PM – 3.15 PM via Zoom, where we will be joined by RNIB who will give updates on the Eye Care Support Pathway, which launched last year.
We hope as many Visionary members as possible can join us then and collectively, we can improve eye care and eye health in the UK.
