Impact Month: Purpose, Impact, and Making Your Data Work for You
Monday 2 December 2024
2:00 pm to 3:00pm
Zoom
Join us for Impact Month throughout November (and into December) for our themed online sessions, when we will provide resources and insights to help you capture and communicate the meaningful impact of your organisation.
This comprehensive session on Impact Month: Purpose, Impact, and Making Your Data Work for You, led by the CEO of impact and data specialists ‘Trust Impact’, is designed to guide you through the best ways to understand, measure and maximise your social impact. We will explore best practices from a range of large and small organisations who have transformed their social impact strategies by focussing their ‘core purpose’, measuring the things that really matter, and integrating real-time data-driven insights to maximise their impact and ensured efforts are both effective and sustainable.
About Matt Stevenson-Dodd
Matt founded Trust Impact in 2019 to help organisations better understand, measure and maximise their social impact. Prior to this, he led three charities from 1997 as Chief Executive. Most recently as CEO of Street League (2010-2019) he developed a sector leading approach to impact measurement and transparent impact reporting, pioneering an approach to talk openly about failure which won multiple sector awards.
Over his career, Matt has been a trustee of a number of charities and grant making organisations including People’s Postcode Lottery. In 2020 Matt was made a Member of the Venerable Order of Saint John for his service as a trustee of St John Ambulance. Number 10 Downing Street chose Street League to be its first ever official volunteering partner in 2011.
All of this is underpinned by a strong academic record which includes an MBA with Distinction from Nottingham University. Matt was recently awarded ‘Highly Commended’ for the global Association of MBA’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2024.
In his spare time Matt is a PADI Scuba Instructor, a qualified rebreather diver, trail runner, and plays bass guitar in a 90’s cover band in North Wales called The Bright Lights.
