Wellbeing
Well-being sessions were an exciting addition to the conference programme for 2021, we created the opportunity for delegates to take some time out or try something new. Delegates allowed themselves time to take a break from hectic schedules and joined in with one of the sessions.
Dance Dosti: Seated Latin Dance
Rashmi Becker from Step Change Studios led a 20-minute seated Latin dance session for blind and partially sighted people. This fun, accessible class gave participants a taster of a range different dance moves, drawing on cha cha and salsa. No dance experience was required and all abilities were welcomed.

Laughing Matters – Fully Booked
Working out who you are isn’t always easy. So, it is really important to have fun, laugh and feel good
about yourself. Laughing Matters is not a workshop. It is a laughing session. When we laugh we
release endorphins – your body’s natural well-being hormone.
Thank you to Wilberforce Trust for introducing us to Angela de Castro and enabling us to host Laughing Matters at this year’s conference.
Time for you
Do you ever say “I wish I had just 5 mins to…..” or “I just need to sit for 10 minutes and…..”
This was time which gave delegates permission to do block out the 15 minutes in diaries and take the time to do something for just themselves.
