Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who would love to use your skills to help us Beat Macular Disease?
Are you somebody who would love to use your administrative skills to help support a visually impaired employee within Macular Society?
Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.
This is an administration role, so a knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential, and a knowledge of database is desirable.
You will be working closely with the Research Intern at all times so good communication and listening skills are essential. The role is to support with sighted tasks that the employee is unable to complete using assisted technology. This is a professional role offering support around all aspects of his role and not personal tasks.
If you have good all round administrative and communication skills with willingness to learn and are comfortable around dogs (the employee is a guide dog owner), then we would love to hear from you.
