Trustee – Treasurer

Location: Board meetings and AGM take place in Camelon, Falkirk
Hours: ~4 hours per quarter
Salary: Voluntary
Forth Valley Sensory Centre is a place where people with a visual or hearing loss, their friends, families, carers and the wider community can access quality services and advice from our partner organisations. The Centre is inclusive, accessible and aims to promote the involvement of the wider community and build positive relationships across Forth Valley. The overall objective of the Centre, is to help people who have a sensory loss live as independently as possible by providing inclusive and accessible support.
We are seeking a new Trustee to join our Board in the role of Treasurer. If you have:
- A proven track record of financial management within the private, public or third sector
- A sound working knowledge of Xero accounting, procedures and best practice
- An interest and empathy with the needs of people living with a sensory impairment
- The ability to become an ambassador and to raise the profile of the centre as well as contributing at a strategic level
and can spare around 4 hours per quarter, we’d love to hear from you.
