Connect Charity has been established with a passion to bring together the not-for-profit sector and businesses to collaborate and develop partnerships which have real and measurable impacts on society and communities. This is facilitated by using a unique website hub, designed to help businesses and charities become more socially aware and understand the benefits of social responsibility, bringing them together to form the perfect partnership.
Vickie has been involved in the charity sector for over 20 years and worked in a range of roles including CEO and Head of Fundraising, so understands the challenges that charities face when prospecting or partnering with businesses. In recent years she has become more involved in sustainability and how a business can engage and prove its journey towards social responsibility. Vickie is a member of the Institute of Fundraising, the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability and has a silver CSR accreditation for Connect Charity as well as an International CSR Excellence Award. She wants to ensure that the future is a good one for generations to come.
