The key purpose of the Engagement Manager role is to deliver regional Sight Loss Councils across the East of England and to engage with blind and partially sighted people across the region. Thomas Pocklington Trust currently have Sight Loss Councils in Bedford and Essex.
For this role they are particularly seeking someone who is not only passionate about the cause, but who is blind or partially sighted themselves. They need a committed self starter with the ability to use their lived experience to be an effective voice to influence the lives of blind and partially sighted people and create an effective change within their region.
An essential part of this role will be to lead the engagement with other sector partners and stakeholders to ensure a robust regional network which can successfully deliver all engagement project work.
TPT welcome applications from those with lived experience of sight loss.
