Salary: £31,998 to £38,229 depending on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Rehabilitation Officer to provide quality assessment and rehabilitation services to visually impaired people in Merton.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Voluntary Sector including rewarding work with children.

Through a contract with the Local Authority MertonVision provides a comprehensive rehabilitation service to visually impaired people of all ages and abilities in Merton.

You will undertake specialist assessments and design, implement, monitor and evaluate rehabilitation plans for visually impaired people.

You will need excellent assessment skills, considerable specialist knowledge and a recognised specialist qualification (Cert/Dip Rehab etc)., ideally supported by field experience. You will have a grasp of community care legislation and a willingness to work flexibly with other professionals to meet our clients’ needs.
