My Sight Nottinghamshire Receives £496,852 Grant from National Lottery Community Fund to Enhance Independence for People with Sight Loss.
My Sight Nottinghamshire is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant of £496,852 from the National Lottery Community Fund, over the next 5 years.
This funding will support our ongoing mission to enable independence, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with sight loss throughout Nottinghamshire.
My Sight Nottinghamshire is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people living with sight loss in the local area. We are committed to providing a wide range of projects and services that promote independence, support emotional wellbeing and foster a strong sense of inclusion. This grant will enable us to further our impact and ensure that individuals receive tailored support that meets their unique needs.
Through this project, My Sight Nottinghamshire will focus on achieving several key outcomes for beneficiaries including:
- Increased independence through early intervention and practical living skills support, empowering individuals to adapt to life with sight loss.
- Enhanced emotional wellbeing through engagement in peer support activities.
- Improved social connectivity by facilitating community engagement and fostering supportive social networks.
- Enhanced access to essential information and resources, ensuring individuals have the tools they need to thrive.
