RNIB in your pocket

Support 4 Sight is committed to partnership working with national and local organisations and would welcome your attendance to a focus day with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) who are there for everyone affected by sight loss. Whether you’re losing your sight or you’re blind or partially sighted, their practical and emotional support can help you face the future with confidence.

Support 4 Sight is hosting a focus day with the RNIB on Tuesday 27th June, from 10am to 2:30pm at Support 4 Sight’s Resource Centre, 2&4 George Street, Saffron Walden, CB10 1EQ. Join us to meet with an expert from the RNIB. He will be available to give hands-on demonstrations of low vision and daily living aids to assist people with sight loss.

Paul Atkins, Resource Centre and Volunteer Manager of Support 4 Sight said, “The day will be a great opportunity to view some easy to use equipment to help with everyday life. As someone who has a visual impairment, I use some of these products myself which helps me to remain independent and would really recommend anyone who is having difficulties because of their sight join us on the day.”

Also on the day is Support 4 Sight’s monthly coffee morning. This will be a special strawberries and cream event very kindly sponsored by Tees Law.

If you are affected by sight loss and need information, support or equipment, please call Support 4 Sight on 01799 523700.
